This is it- finally we have been able to fix significant issues with LJP. Version 4.0 is now available for download in the app store.

If offers the following enhancements over previous versions;
1) Massive change in the address look-up feature. This now works really well and should solve most of the issues users have been experiencing.
2) Official underground tube map now included. This was asked for by many user, so hopefully this will help those users.
3) Departure boards showing the latest live departure for London stations. Nice feature to see when the next train is expected at your station.
4) Added many stations to the list for easier look-up

These are really significant changes and we hope it works as expected. Any issue will be immediately addressed. We have also submitted a version with high Res icons for the new iPhone 4, so hopefully that will be approved soon too.

Tube status is playing up. Seems TFL has changed their output so we need to fix our server side communication. We are working on this and should have a fix to you shortly.

Yahoo search appears to be giving certain users issues.

Upon investigation, it seems that TFL doesn’t accommodate a full and comprehensive UK postcode database. This means that although Yahoo returns a correct and accurate postcode, TFL can’t find it in their database, which in turn yields a “Journey Planner cannot find those locations” in the app.

We are looking into this urgently to see how to improve the search results for our users.
